Four Principles of designing AI with humans at the center

1. AI is Assistive, Not Authoritative

• AI suggests → User decides
• Never auto-commit without user confirmation

2. Explain Before You Surprise

• Any AI action must be explainable
• “Why am I seeing this?” is mandatory UX

3. Human-in-the-Loop by Default

• User can edit, override, undo
• No black-box outputs

4. Failure is Designed, Not Hidden

• AI will be wrong → UX must recover gracefully
